On the occasion of the opening of the Whisky Museum in Hainan, Glenmorangie enlisted Bweez to redefine the customer experience and maximize the visibility of its brand. The goal: to strengthen its presence in China by presenting itself in a modern, playful, and dynamic light. It was within this dynamic that the Selfie Spot was created: an innovative photobooth, accompanied by a unique scenography, allowing the brand to offer an unforgettable souvenir to each visitor. A project combining architecture and innovation to provide a retailtainment experience that blends fun, creativity, and establishes a direct connection with the Glenmorangie universe.

Our studies focused on museum attendance in China and globally, identifying the growing expectations of visitors towards culture and art.

It is evident that museums are becoming more accessible and are aiming to attract a broader audience. Immersive and interactive experiences, which challenge traditional norms, transform the visit: the spectator becomes an active participant, engaging directly with the exhibition.

In this context, we wanted to offer an experience that brings together all generations around a photobooth with an innovative architectural concept.

BIG IDEA

The teaser "Capture the unforgettable Glenmorangie MOMENT" embodies the very essence of our experience. The word "Capture" emphasizes the idea of seizing a unique moment, preserved through a photograph.

What makes this experience unforgettable is the "exceptional moment." The photo is taken from an elevated perspective, offering a rare and impressive view that sets this photobooth apart from any other. This unique angle, combined with carefully designed scenography, transforms each shot into an unforgettable memory, providing guests with a truly unique experience.

CONCEPT

Through this installation, our goal was to create something truly grand and unprecedented, redefining the essence of the photobooth by revolutionizing the way to capture the moment.

By highlighting the power of the giraffe, we designed a concept that directly aligns with Glenmorangie's identity, symbolizing the idea of "owning the world’s largest still."

Our aim was to make the experience bold and captivating, visible from afar, so that Glenmorangie would stand out as a brand that is modern, unique, and incomparable.

GRAPHIC IDENTITY

The UI identity of the Glenmorangie Selfie Spot project features a series of graphic styles that give the interface a modern and dynamic character.

The homepage video, created in 3D, provides an immersive navigation experience through a variety of photo effects offered by the photobooth, delivering an interactive and engaging experience.

The selection interface, simple and streamlined, prioritizes functionality while remaining intuitive.

Graphic elements, such as tutorials, were designed in 3D to enhance the camera movements within the scene, before being flattened to emphasize boldness and originality.

3D & ARCHITECTURE

The 3D modeling and reconstruction of the photobooth space allowed us to anticipate technical challenges, making it easier to place the camera accurately and adjust the angles based on the visitor's position.

Installed over 3 meters high, the main challenge was the connection between the tablet and the camera.

The perfect integration into the architecture, the optimal selection of the lens, and the precise framing, validated by the objective, ensured a high-quality visual result.

SOCIAL NETWORK

The automatic generation of a stylized QR code in the brand's colors allowed us to establish the online/offline link, enabling a direct connection to WeChat.

Integrating the photobooth into the Chinese social ecosystem makes the experience seamless and optimizes information sharing with a wide audience.

This connection is further enhanced by integration with the brand's CRM, aimed at acquiring new brand members.

The Selfie Spot is available in several configurations, offering complete flexibility to adapt to the brand's space and budget:

Its simplified version, featuring just an iPad and front camera, allows for large-scale deployment with a simple installation and an affordable cost for the markets.

The premium version is ideal for large-scale events or flagship installations. It includes the use of a tablet and the remote placement of a specially sourced camera for ultra-premium resolution.
